An illegal migrant has been encouraging his TikTok audience to enter the UK via boat. The creator, known as Alexandra420, racked up nearly a million views with his step-by-step guide on crossing the Channel with a small boat. This comes amid the Prime Minister's 'soft-touch' approach in addressing illegal crossings in the UK.

About Alexandra420 and His Content

Alexandra420 had around 70,000 followers before his account was disabled for promoting people-smuggling. One of his notable clips saw him leaving Calais in a dinghy at 4:00 last Saturday.

His first video was a short, 13-second clip in the middle of the Channel. It showed his audience a French lifeboat alongside his dinghy, which was also occupied by other migrants.

The next clip showed him smiling as he wore an orange life jacket while pointing to the sky. His third video showed the vessel surrounded by massive freight ships with the theme of US TV drama Prison Break as background music.

His fourth video showed him dipping his designer trainers in the water. He posted eight videos before starting a live Q&A with his audience in the Afghan dialect Pashto.

The videos collectively had 870,000 views before they were taken down. His account was banned during a second livestream attempt upon The Sun alerting TikTok of the matter.

Recounting His Arrival in the UK Via Livestream

Alexandra420 was livestreaming at the Crowne Plaza, a taxpayer-funded asylum hotel. He revealed that 50,271 people have been able to cross in small boats since Labour and Sir Keir Starmer took office in 2024.

He recounted his luck on his arrival, dedicating it to 'haters' who thought he and other migrants drowned or died. He revealed that their boat began to deflate halfway through the crossing.

The vessel could have capsized if Border Force officials didn't rescue them. Oddly enough, he would encourage others to pay thousands to people-smugglers to make the same risky trip.

He ranted about putting his life in danger, spending money and arriving. He said that 'your country is not your mother'. He would then conclude that 'this is the best place', and told people to not be stingy.

Alexandra420 would boast about his success, saying 'Tell your friends to come!'. He also told his story of addressing deportation, claiming he was told by UK officials 'If I send you to France, you won't have any problem'.

He replied that he would commit suicide, and noted that it angered the officials.

Alexandra420 was one of 435 arrivals on Saturday, taken in by Border Force officials for processing in Manston, Kent. His viewers also included other asylum seekers in different hotels across the country.

UK's Responses to the Issue

Reform lead and MP Nigel Farage said that 'this is yet another total humiliation for our country'. He also added that the Prime Minister's 'soft-touch approach and refusal to address the root cause of illegal Channel crossings has turned the UK into a global laughing stock'.

Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philip also reacted, saying 'it is disgraceful that illegal immigrants are saying it is their dream to be put up in a hotel, all paid for by the British taxpayer'.

Concerning Alexandra420, he said that 'this illegal immigrant had multiple opportunities to claim asylum in other European countries before choosing to come here'. He also said that this is a sick joke, and anyone coming to the UK illegally must be swiftly deported.

This comes in light of The Sun revealing that he was able to swap stays in Germany and France. Notably, removals to Afghanistan were paused since the Taliban seized control in 2021.

This means that the TikTok influencer had access to this knowledge prior to entering the UK. It also suggests that he was aware that he's unlikely to be deported as well.
