Berdych made it to the last four of the PNB Paribas Masters after defeating Kevin Anderson on Friday. The Czech tennis star lost the opening set in a tiebreaker. However, he bounced back in the second set to level the match and won the final set to seal it.

The 29-year-old won the match 6-7, 6-4, 6-4. Berdych has won in straight sets only once in the 2014 PNB Paribas Masters and he would be looking for another straight set win on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Raonic's confidence is sky high after he defeated Roger Federer in the quarter-finals of the tournament. The Canadian knocked out the 2011 Paris Masters champion and also ended the Swiss tennis ace's hope of finishing the calendar year as World No 1.

The 23-year-old defeated Federer in straight sets 7-6, 7-5 to make it to the semi-final of the PNB Paribas Masters and another win will see him get closer to winning the tournament for the first time in his career.
