A prominent French influencer, Soraya Riffy, has been left traumatised and disfigured after a brutal home invasion in Marseille. The 30-year-old was tied up, beaten, and doused in bleach by two masked attackers who also stole luxury items and allegedly sexually assaulted her.

Riffy, a beauty and fitness content creator with over one million Instagram followers, was attacked in her apartment on 4 July 2025. According to BFMTV and LBC, the intruders posed as neighbours before forcing their way into her home. Once inside, they bound her, beat her, and sprayed her with bleach, causing chemical burns, facial fractures, and a concussion.

Violent Robbery Leaves Influencer Hospitalised

Authorities say the suspects made off with valuable possessions including a Rolex watch, Cartier bracelet, and several designer handbags, as well as the keys to her home and car. Police are currently investigating the case under charges of aggravated robbery, kidnapping, and rape. No arrests have been made so far.

Born on 10 February 1995 in Marseille, Soraya Riffy is the youngest of six children from a Kabyle Algerian mother and an Iraqi father. Before rising to fame, she worked as a state-qualified nurse and graduated in 2021 with a BTS in business management.

Following the attack, Riffy shared a powerful post on Instagram, writing: 'My body is a crime scene.' She posted photos of her injuries, including facial swelling, bruises, and bleeding, alongside the caption: 'I am alive, and that's already a miracle.'

The post drew widespread support from fans, celebrities, and fellow influencers, with many demanding better protection for women in the public eye. French media outlets including CNews and La Provence have reported that authorities are treating the case with urgency due to the extreme violence involved.

The Marseille Judicial Police have launched an appeal for witnesses and are reviewing CCTV footage from the area. They have urged local residents to come forward with any information that could help identify the attackers.
