Arkansas Mother Killed Her Two Children and Herself After Divorce, Autopsy Reveals
Autopsy reveals details of the tragic murder-suicide involving an Arkansas mother and her children.

Autopsy confirmed the cause of death of an Arkansas mom and her two kids last December was a murder-suicide.
Bonanza City resident Charity Beallis, 40, murdered her two children and killed herself on 2 December 2025, the Sebastian County Sheriff's Office announced in a statement. Per the Facebook post, 'the autopsy conducted by the Arkansas State Crime Lab has a conclusion of suicide for Mrs. Beallis and homicide for the two children.'
Investigation Points to Murder-Suicide
The Sheriff's Office confirmed that they have yet to find any evidence suggesting the crime was not a murder-suicide. It's still an ongoing investigation, pending electronic forensic data obtained from Beallis' residence.
On the day of the incident, responding police noted evidence consistent with the autopsy result.
Using her phone, Beallis deactivated the home security alarm at around 10:00pm, per the statement. All the doors and windows were closed when police arrived at the residence on 3 December 9:30am. All of the house's access points also passed rigorous testing.
Alleged Assault Reported Before the Incident
According to court documents obtained by 5News, Charity expressed growing concerns for herself and her children. On 16 February 2025, Randall Beallis, Charity's estranged husband, allegedly strangled her in front of her children inside their home. Charity filed for divorce on 5 March.
Per the outlet, Charity requested full custody of the children because his husband was already charged with domestic violence. A court order had also banned Randall from contacting Charity and their children.
Randall was initially charged with aggravated assault on a family member, third-degree domestic battery, and two counts of third-degree endangering a minor, according to a criminal information sheet filed in March 2025.
The charges were reduced to third-degree battery in October 2025. Randall pleaded guilty to that charge. He was ordered not to contact Charity or any member of her family without a court order.
Charity Fears for Her Children
In August 2025, Charity expressed her fears in a 5News Facebook post about the case. 'I'm living this battle right now. I am the victim, yet I've been treated like the problem while the criminal — a local doctor — is being shielded by the very system that's supposed to protect us,' she wrote in a comment to the post.
'I've tried to reach Prosecuting Attorney Daniel Shue, but he won't even accept a letter from me. My voice, as the victim, has been shut out,' she added. 'This is not just about me — this is about a system that protects offenders and rejects victims. Lives are at stake, including the lives of young children.'
According to transcripts from Charity's deposition on 2 December, her wish for reconciliation with Randall was rejected. Charity and Randall were ordered to share joint custody of their children at the end of the hearing.
Electronic forensics determined that Randall's Tesla electric vehicle was not near their home on the night of the murder. His phone also did not flag any mobile phone towers in the area.
The autopsy report did divulge details about the victims' cause of death.
