MTV's critically acclaimed comedy series Awkward returns for the second half of Season four on Tuesday, September 23.

The 12th episode is titled Finals and the official synopsis reads, "Following the drama of the ski trip, Jenna decides it's best to spend her time focusing on her finals."

Senior year at Palos Hills High School continues this fall and the stakes are higher than ever for Jenna Hamilton. After a rough start to her senior year, Jenna tries to get back on track by focusing on her future and the dreaded final exams. Jenna and her friends anxiously await college admission verdicts while trying to relish their last few days together.

MTV also released a one-minute trailer of the upcoming season. In the trailer, Jenna is depressed about not getting into college, and the voice over asks if Matty and Jenna are just friends. The trailer also mentions something about "dude-database" for ranking senior boys, while Jenna's desperate attempt to save Valentine's Day fails miserably.
