Bangladesh will take on South Korea in the 16th match of the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup at the Arena by TransStadia in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The clash between the two sides is a Pool A fixture, scheduled for 13 October, Thursday.

Md Aruduzzaman Munshi saw his side start the tournament on a brighter note after sealing a comfortable victory over England. Bangladesh registered a crushing 52-18 win over the English men.

However, they suffered their first defeat of the Kabaddi World Cup at the hands of India. The defending champions did what they did to England as the host nation defeated Bangladesh to clinch the top spot in Pool A. The final scoreline was 57-20 in India's favour.

South Korea won their first two matches of the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup, defeating India and Argentina in the process. The victory over India has boosted Dong Ju Hong's side's chances of qualifying for the semi-final. A win over Bangladesh on Thursday will see them clinch the top spot in Pool A.
