The world number six will now take on Raonic on Wednesday. The 10th seed overcame Alejandro Falla in the third round last Monday. The Canadian defeated the 30-year-old Colombian, 6-4, 6-3 in straight sets to qualify for the fourth round.
Murray and Raonic have battled each other thrice in the past and the Canadian holds a 2-1 lead against the Scot after their last meeting in 2012.
