Brooklyn Beckham Wedding Planner on 'Sabotage' Claims, Saying There Was No Tension During Ceremony
Wedding planner disputes Brooklyn Beckham's sabotage claims as others back parts of his account.

The conundrum within the Beckham dynasty has taken a sharp turn as industry professionals who orchestrated Brooklyn Beckham's 2022 wedding have begun speaking out, offering a starkly different account of the family's public 'Brand Beckham' facade.
Following Brooklyn's explosive six-page Instagram statement on 19 January 2026, in which he accused his parents, David and Victoria, of 'hijacking' his first dance and 'sabotaging' his marriage to Nicola Peltz, renowned wedding planner Preston Bailey has expressed shock at the allegations.
Bailey, who managed the initial 11 months of planning, told Page Six that he witnessed absolutely no tension during his time with the couple, describing Brooklyn as a 'gentle, decent guy' who appeared deeply affectionate towards Nicola.
Brooklyn Beckham's Wedding Planner's Perspective
Bailey, who helped design and manage the Beckham-Peltz wedding, said that Brooklyn came across as 'a nice, regular person' during planning. Bailey explained that he met the couple multiple times in the lead-up to the ceremony and never observed tension between Brooklyn and his parents.
'It surprises me that he is taking this stand against his parents', Bailey said, emphasising that Brooklyn appeared kind and gentle throughout the wedding preparations. He also noted that Nicola was involved in design decisions but always sought Brooklyn's approval, suggesting they were cooperating.
Bailey's remarks indicate that, from a professional perspective, the ceremony was executed smoothly and affectionately.
DJ Fat Tony Confirms Awkward Moments
While Bailey denied sabotage, DJ Fat Tony, who performed at the wedding, supported parts of Brooklyn's narrative. According to the DJ, Victoria Beckham unexpectedly joined Brooklyn and Peltz for their first dance, leaving Brooklyn 'devastated' and Peltz in tears.
He described the situation as 'really awkward', adding that Brooklyn's discomfort was genuine and should be respected as part of his experience. This suggests that, while the overall wedding was well coordinated, certain moments may have caused the couple personal frustration.
Besides DJ Fat Tony, Rebecca Loos, who previously accused David Beckham of infidelity, publicly backed Brooklyn on social media, praising him for 'standing up for himself' and addressing the family dynamics openly.
She said she felt sympathy for Peltz, implying that the bride may have experienced pressure or emotional strain during the event.
Why Others Think Brooklyn and Nicola Were Telling Lies
Despite support for Brooklyn, other sources have cast doubt on some of his allegations.
An older interview with Nicola and her designer indicated that her custom Valentino wedding gown was ready in advance, contradicting Brooklyn's claim that Victoria Beckham was initially meant to design it before allegedly backing out.
Despite the mixed responses, Brooklyn has reportedly expressed no regrets about speaking publicly. An insider told sources that he believes he made the right decision in sharing his perspective, even though it may not align with public observations.
Fans Divided Between Brooklyn and Victoria Beckham
Public reaction to Brooklyn's claims has been sharply divided.
Some social media users have rallied behind Victoria, arguing that the former Spice Girl has long been unfairly blamed in family disputes. Supporters pointed to previous unproven allegations about Nicola's behaviour, including tabloid-era claims that she was difficult to work with and an alleged incident involving a former nanny, which Nicola has never been charged over and which remains unsubstantiated.
For these commenters, Brooklyn's accusations fit a pattern of behaviour from Nicola they believe predates the wedding.
Others, however, argue that Brooklyn was justified in defending his wife. Supporters say that regardless of Nicola's past reputation, a partner has the right to speak up if they believe boundaries were crossed. They emphasised that Brooklyn's statements were framed around how the events made him and Peltz feel, which led to the family's fallout.
Brooklyn is currently not interested in repairing his relationship with his family, while the Beckhams remain open to welcoming him back.
