Real Madrid can go three points clear of Barcelona at the top of the La Liga table with victory over Celta Vigo at Balaidos on 17 May.

Where to watch

Kick-off is set for 8pm BST. The game is not scheduled for live broadcast in the UK.

Overview

Celta Vigo fell to a 3-1 defeat at Deportivo Alaves on 14 May as their winless run extended to eight matches in all competitions. The Galician club have lost four of their last five league encounters against Real Madrid at Balaidos.

Midfielder Nemanja Radoja is racing to recover from an achilles problem and is doubtful to face Real.

Real Madrid took a step closer to their first La Liga title in five years by thrashing Sevilla 4-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu at the weekend. Zinedine Zidane's side need four points from their final two matches to be crowned champions of Spain.

Pepe, Dani Carvajal and Gareth Bale are all out injured for the visitors, while centre-back Nacho is suspended.

What managers say

Eduardo Berizzo: "It will be a great match to play in front of our supporters. We feel very strong and know what to expect from a great side who are fit and coming off a great week. To beat them we must play very well and perform like we did in the cup win over them. Our form in La Liga is not good, and now after the defeat against Manchester United [in the Europa League] we must change this and concentrate." [via Marca]

Zinedine Zidane: "The Celta team that will play in Vigo are going to come out as professionals, as they have to. It's difficult because they are a good team. It's important to think about your opponent, we always study them, but I'm interested in what we're going to do. It's very simple, we're ready and we have two finals to play before the league finishes." [via Marca]
