Going into E3 2015 – the video game industry's most renowned trade show – Sony needed to build on the huge success of its PS4 console and plug the gap left in its 2015 list of exclusives by the delay of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.
That was demoed at the end of the show, which also saw The Last Guardian reintroduced to the gaming world, a new Hitman game announced from IO Interactive, a No Man's Sky gameplay demo, a new expansion for Destiny revealed and news regarding PlayStation Vue.
Undoubtedly, though, the biggest news came when Sony announced a full Final Fantasy 7 remake and a Shenmue 3 Kickstarter. Are those announcements really worth all the excitement? In this video, IBTimes UK gaming correspondent Ben Skipper rounds up and gives his thoughts on the show.
