Fast 8 is on the verge of wrapping its shoot for the upcoming instalment of the Fast and Furious franchise but just a week before the completion, Dwayne Johnson stirred quite a controversy when he referred his male co-stars as "chicken s**t" and "candy asses". And, now TMZ claims that the former WWE champ was referring to his Fast 8 co-star and producer Vin Diesel in his Instagram post.

According to the gossip website, after the wrestler-turned-actor made his tiff with Diesel public, the two reportedly had a secret meeting in Atlanta on Tuesday, 9 August, to work out their differences ahead of the movie's 2017 release.

If rumours are to be believed, the feud between the two Hollywood stars had become so serious that it was impossible to shoot the scenes.

Although, the duo had a sit down to resolve the issues before the movie goes into post-production, it is not yet known whether they have managed to get past their differences.

The news of the meeting between Johnson and Diesel comes after the former took to social media to call out on his co-star with a furious video clip from the set.

"There's no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one," the Rock wrote adding, "My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em. My male co-stars however are a different story."

He continued with his rant saying, "some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken shit to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses."

The 44-year-old actor stars in the Fast and Furious sequel alongside male co-stars such as Diesel, Scott Eastwood, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Kurt Russell, and Jason Statham. Fast 8 opens in theatres on 14 April 2017.
