Jose Mourinho

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho believes Brazil will win the World Cup even though they don't play "quality football".

After beating Colombia in the quarter-final, Felipe Scolari's side face Germany in the semi-final for th right to play against either Argentina or Netherlands in Sunday's final.

And even though Mourinho admits Brazil are not playing exciting football he hails Scolari's defensive style and believes it will be enough for them to win their sixth World Cup title on home turf.

"Brazil is a fighting team, is playing with their heart and every player gives everything - I respect that," said Mourinho to Yahoo Sport.

"But reality is they don't play quality football. I know what they are doing though. Everybody defending. Big effort. At the end of the story, we see Brazil world champion. They do everything to win for their country and to be a world champion."

Nevertheless, earlier this week the Portuguese boss had said that Neymar's injury and Thiago Silva's suspension were big blows for Brazil.

The Barcelona star has been ruled out of the rest of the World Cup after fracturing a vertebra against Colombia while the centre-back will miss the Germany game after picking up a second yellow card against Colombia.

"Brazil need Neymar because he is a player who can win one-on-one situations, unsettle opponents, score goals and is fantastic with set-pieces," Mourinho said then.

"But I would say that, probably, Thiago Silva is as or more important than Neymar at this moment."]

Chelsea man Willian look the favourite to replace the Barcelona star in the attack while Bayern Munich's Dante is expected to cover in Silva's absence.
