Sophie Turner needs not fret about clashing with her future in-laws because Nick Jonas cannot wait to welcome the Games of Thrones star into the family.

Speaking to Extra's Mark Wright, the pop star said he could not be happier for his brother Joe, who popped the question back in October.

"I'm so happy for them!" he gushed. "She's so lovely and a beautiful addition to our family."

Joe proposed to the flame-haired beauty after dating just under a year. The lovebirds announced their engagement with a snap of her gorgeous pear-shaped diamond engagement ring on Instagram.

Turner, who made her acting debut as Sansa Stark on the fantasy drama in 2011, simply captioned the picture: "I said yes".

Jonas was one of the first to congratulate the lovebirds, tweeting at the time: "Ahh! Congratulations to my brother... and sister in law to be on your engagement. I love you both so much."

As for whether Jonas will be the best man, he believes the chances are slim. "I don't know; it's up to him to decide. He's got three brothers, so it's kinda rude to pick one."

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight's Nischelle Turner, he said: "I can tell you that he found his partner and love of his life. That's all that matters. It's a beautiful thing."

He added that Northampton-born Turner will be joining them again for the holidays after getting her first experience of a Jonas Thanksgiving - which involves "good movies, good times, [sitting] around the fire" - last year.
