Two massive boulders have ripped through a picturesque northern Italian village after becoming dislodged by a landslide.

One huge rock destroyed a barn and narrowly missed a farm house in Ronci Termeno, South Tyrol, after coming to a halt in a vineyard just a few feet away from the property.

A second giant boulder that came loose during the landslide stopped behind the house. The walls of the rustic 300-year-old farm house near Bolzano completely crumbled to dust and the roof was left in splinters.

The family living at the property was unharmed in the incident but were forced to evacuate their home.
