Ice T and Coco Austin: Newborn daughter Chanel Nicole has almost 90k Instagram followers

Celebrations are in order for Ice T and Coco Austin, who have welcomed their first child together. Their little girl, who has been named Chanel Nicole, arrived on 28 November weighing 5lb 7oz.

The proud parents announced the birth on Instagram by showing off their new addition with a giant pink bow on her head and swaddled in a hospital blanket."Surprise!!! Look who came early!! Welcome the new arrival of Chanel Nicole," the caption read. "A beautiful healthy 5.7 pound and 18 inch baby girl. Ice and I are so proud! I cried while she was coming out I was so excited to meet her!"

After being inundated with congratulatory messages, Austin shared another snap, this time an adorable family portrait of her daughter lying on her chest as Ice T beams proudly in the background. "Thanks so much for all the warm wishes today. I'm doing great!" she wrote.

"I had the best delivery! I pushed Chanel out in 3 tries! This was taken not 5 minutes after delivery, called skin to skin contact.. better for a more bonding experience."

Within minutes of introducing her to the world, their little bundle of joy already had her very own Twitter and Instagram accounts. The pair have media pages for their dogs, Spartacus and Maximus, so it was only right their daughter got one too.

"I decided I'd be the Youngest girl with a Twitter page.. What's up!! I'm ready to ROCK! #BabyChanelWorld" Ice T, whose real name is Tracy Marrow, said on Twitter. "Thank you for ALL the LOVE all of you have given us today.. You are truly appreciated... And we are humbled.

He added: "BabyChanel has gotten over 11k Twitter followers BabyChanelWorld & 26k Instagram. @BabyChanelNicole 24hrs on earth!"

The little girl's social media following continues to grow with 19.7k on Twitter and 87.6k on Instagram and rising. From the looks of her first tweet, she will be an avid user of social media. "Ok! I'm the newest on Twitter! What's crackin world!! No haters allowed...," the one-day-old "wrote" on her first tweet (with help from her dad, we assume).

Ice T, 57, is already a father to children Tracy and Latesha from previous relationships.
