Overview

The Challengers enter this game after their narrow defeat at the hands of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) last weekend. Bangalore's pacer RP Singh over-stepped for the final delivery of the match, resulting in Virat Kohli's side losing two crucial points.

The defeat against MS Dhoni's men is the hosts' second defeat in this edition of IPL and they are now sitting second in the league table with six points from five games, level on points with Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad who are currently first, third and fourth. However, RCB has played a game more when compared to Mumbai and Rajasthan.

Jamaican big-hitter Chris Gayle will be the key man in Bangalore's batting line-up along with their skipper Kohli and South African star AB de Villiers. Australian all rounder Moises Henriques is likely to start on Tuesday.

The Daredevils are currently not enjoying a great run in this season's IPL as they have failed to win a single game during the current campaign. Delhi side has lost all four of their games and are the only team yet to taste victory in the league.

The visitors will be looking for their first victory against RCB on Tuesday, while the hosts would be looking to keep their unbeaten home run intact. Another defeat for Delhi could damage their hope of finishing the season in top four. Mahela Jayawardene and his men have a huge task to seal their first two points of the season. The Sri Lankan will be banking on David Warner and Morne Morkel to fire with bat and ball respectively.
