Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that he can have no complaints about his side's festive fixture schedule, despite playing four games, three of them away from home, in the space of 10 days.

The Blues remain top of the table despite an arduous run of games in December that has seen them travel to Stoke, take on West Ham at home, play away at Southampton, before they travel to London rivals Tottenham Hotspur on New Year's Day.

Despite this, Mourinho said that the way the fixtures were automatically generated meant he had no reason to complain, and that come the end of the season the run of home and away fixtures would even out.

Chelsea have already played some of their major rivals, including Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool, away from home this season, and with an easier run of fixtures in 2015, remain three points clear of second-placed Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.
