Pop icon Justin Bieber's mother Pattie Mallette has maintained that he is doing well and has rubbished reports of him heading into rehab.

The 19-year-old Baby singer was recently arrested for racing a yellow Lamborghini and found with traces of marijuana and anti-anxiety drug Xanax in his body.

His manager Scooter Braun also reportedly wants him to get help and go into rehab. However, his mother disagrees.

"Justin is not out of control. He has always been someone who has to do things his way. He will do the right thing and he will come out on top," Mallette reportedly told her friends.

"As far as Pattie is concerned Justin can do no wrong. He is a real mummy's boy and she would be devastated if that ever changed. Even though the label boss insisted he needs urgent help, she is keen to not be seen as looking to rein him in," the friends added.

"People don't talk about all the great things he does every day. He gives back to charities," his mother is quoted as having remarked.

Bieber has reportedly been tainted by so many scandals of late and people closest to him are quite concerned. They want him to get help as soon as possible.

His house was raided on complaints that he threw eggs at his neighbour.

His close friend Lil Za was recently arrested for drug possession as well. He was also caught in between these drug allegations.

"I also heard he got busted for smoking weed and he's really sorry about it and people make mistakes and he's never gonna do it again," Bieber said when asked about the rumours during his Saturday Night Live appearance.

This was after photos of him allegedly smoking pot with a group of friends in January 2013 emerged.

Later that year, one of Bieber's bodyguards was arrested in Brisbane after marijuana was found in his luggage.
