Robert Pattinson has made a big statement of his love for Kirsten Stewart by gifting her a whopping £30,000 limited edition fountain pen on her 23rd birthday.

Kristen, who recently patched up with Pattinson following their 64-day "trial" separation, spent her birthday having a cosy, private dinner at a food joint called Malo Taqueria near Silver Lake area in Los Angeles. They had earlier decided to have a low-key dinner at their home to celebrate Kristen's birthday.

After their intimate dinner, the Twilight lovers decided to go to the No Vacancy bar at 11PM and stayed on till early hours of the morning in the VIP section of the joint.

"They weren't overly affectionate or anything, but at points they were standing together as they talked to friends," an insider said.

The Metropolis hunk decided to gift Kristen a limited edition white gold Tibaldi Bentley Crewe fountain pen to declare his love for her and to augment her already-stylish collection of pens. Pattinson didn't just stop at that. He had Kristen's name engraved on the pen along with the year and his first name initial.

"The pens, of which there are only 40 copies in the world, have a two-tone 18-carat yellow gold nib covered in rhodium and ruthenium. The barrel is identical to Bentley's dashboard used in their earlier car," a source said.

The insider told The Sun that Pattinson, 26, gifted her the expensive pen as a mark of their relationship going forward. Earlier, one of the sources close to the Twilight couple had talked about Pattinson's wariness in trusting Kristen all over again after her brief fling with the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. Pattinson was "taking it slow" with following their reunion in March. But, the latest gift is a statement of intent from Pattinson regarding his love for his Twilight co-star.

Apart from the limited edition fountain pen, Pattinson decided to gift her an antique bracelet as well.
