4:54pm: Final whistles are being blown all around the country. Chelsea are well at home in top spot of the table, while Leicester take their first win of the season and Tottenham were unable to capitalise on early goals to take full points from Sunderland.

4:53pm: GOAL! And that's a wrap on the Southampton v Newcastle game as Morgan Schneiderlin scores to 4-0. An embarrassing day out for the Toon and their manager.

4:45pm: GOAL! Jonjo Shelvey gets one in the net for Swansea - it likely won't be enough to steal some points with the scorebaord now reading 4-2 for Chelsea.

4:44pm: GOAL! Tottenham score but it's in the wrong direction with Harry Kane getting an own goal for Sunderland as they equalise.

4:43pm: Burnley have a chance to score against Crystal Palace with Scott Arfield taking a penalty but the Palace keeper guesses the direction and pulls off a massive save!

4:43pm: Team news for Liverpool v Aston Villa is as follows:

Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Manquillo, Moreno, Lovren, Sakho, Gerrard, Henderson, Coutinho, Markovic, Lallana, Balotelli

Aston Villa XI: Guzan, Hutton, Baker, Senderos, Cissokho, Westwood, Delph, Cleverley, Richardson, Agbonlahor [c], Weimann.

4:40pm: Crystal Palace and Burnley are the only goalless fixture so far today but it's not because neither are coming close - so far Palace have 14 shots on goal to Burnley's 10.

4:37pm: GOAL! Chelsea go up 4-1 thanks to super sub Loic Remy. That's his first goal in his first game for the side.

4:31pm: Diego Costa is off after a brilliant performance today as Loic Remy comes on the pitch in his place.

4:28pm: GOAL! Everton double their lead as Kevin Mirallas scored to put the side up 2-0.

4:27pm: GOAL! Diego Costa again, his seventh goal in four games puts Chelsea up 3-1 against Swansea. It looks like there's no way back for the Welsh outfit and the Blues have well and truly made up for John Terry's early mistake.

4:23pm: GOAL! Leicester are up 1-0 against Stoke thanks to Leonardo Ulloa. Could they be on the road to their first Premier League win this season?

4:22pm: Chelsea are completely in control now at Stamford Bridge and with Swansea yet to have a shot on target it appears they don't yet have an answer for the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard.

4:16pm: GOAL! Chelsea are on top at Stamford Bridge after Diego Costa scores a brace. Looks like he is going to be one hell of a buy for the Blues this season!

4:13pm: GOAL! Southampton essentially close down the game against Newcastle as a goal from Jack Cork puts them up 3-0.

4:07pm: GOAL! Tottenham are up and running early once more with Christian Eriksen putting them in front. They'll be keen not to repeat their mistakes of the first half this time... defence assemble stat!

4:03pm: And we're off again!

3:47pm: And that's a wrap across England! We'll be back soon for the second half.

3:44pm: GOAL! Chelsea equalise through Diego Costa.

3:38pm: Around 10 minutes until half time and Chelsea are picking up against Swansea. Meanwhile not much is happening at Stoke v Leicester, with neither side looking threatening in front of goal at this stage.

3:25pm: The pressure is on Alan Pardew at Newcastle and the fans are making their feelings clear now, with Southampton looking well and truly on top.

3:20pm: GOAL! Newcastle are in serious trouble here as Southampton double their lead with Pelle completing a brace.

3:16pm: That was certainly quite the shock for the Blues, who have become the masters of asserting their dominance early on this season. The side have had two shots on goal so far and one on target but they're down where it counts.

3:11pm: GOAL! Chelsea are down, now there's something I wasn't expecting to write today! John Terry scores an own-goal after trying to deflect the ball.

3:06pm: GOAL! It's goal central in the opening minutes of these 3pm fixtures! Southampton are in the advantage against Newcastle after Graziano Pelle heads with utter precision.

3:03pm: GOAL! Adam Johnson does all the work to put the scores back to level with Tottenham within a minute. Sunderland are well and truly back in it now!

3:03pm: GOAL! Tottenham go up 1-0 against Sunderland after Nacer Chadli collects Emmanuel Adebayor's shot and gets it right second time.

3:02pm: GOAL! Everton are up 1-0 against West Brom thanks to a strike from Romelu Lukaku.

3:00pm: And we're off!

2:57pm: With minutes to kick-off the teams are all out of the tunnels.

2:49pm: Team line-ups for West Brom v Everton are as follows:

West Brom XI: Foster, Wisdom, Olsson, Dawson, Pocognoli, Morrison, Gardner, Brunt, Dorrans, Berahino, Ideye.

Everton XI: Howard, Coleman, Baines, Jagielka, Stones, Barry, McCarthy, Mirallas, Naismith, McGeady, Lukaku.

And for Sunderland v Tottenham:

Sunderland XI: Mannone, Vergini, van Aanholt, Brown, O'Shea, Cattermole, Larsson, Rodwell, Johnson, Alvarez, Wickham.

Tottenham XI: Lloris, Dier, Kaboul, Chiriches, Rose, Dembele, Capoue, Lamela, Eriksen, Chadli, Adebayor.

2:41pm: And that's a wrap - City were pushing hard until the final seconds but were unable to get a shot on target and past Szczensy. Manuel Pellegrini will certainly be disappointed with that. Now onto the next six fixtures at 3:00pm!!

2:35pm: And again off the post for City!! Arsenal are holding on but with 6 minutes extra time City clearly have the belief they can win this...

2:32pm: Just minutes to go as Kolarov hits the post for City. Can they find a winner?

2:32pm: For Chelsea v Swansea:

Chelsea XI: Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry (c), Azpilicueta; Matic, Fabregas; Schurrle, Oscar, Hazard; Diego Costa

Swansea XI: Fabianski, Rangel, Amat, Williams (c), Taylor, Ki, Shelvey, Sigurdsson, Dyer, Routledge, Gomis

2:30pm: Let the team news for the 15:00 kick offs begin! For Crystal Palace v Burnley:

Crystal Palace XI: Speroni, Ward, Delaney, Dann, Mariappa, Jedinak, McArthur, Puncheon, Zaha, Campbell, Gayle.

Burnley XI: Heaton, Trippier, Duff, Shackell, Mee, Arfield, Marney, Jones, Boyd, Jutkiewicz, Ings.

For Southampton v Newcastle:

Southampton XI: Forster, Clyne, Fonte, Alderweireld, Bertrand, Cork, Schneiderlin, S. Davis, Tadic, Long, Pelle.

Newcastle XI: Krul, Janmaat, Coloccini, Williamson, Haidara, Colback, Anita, Cabella, Sissoko, Gouffran, Riviere.

2:27pm GOAL! City find a much-needed equaliser through Demichelis. He heads it past Szczensy despite the keeper getting a hand on it.

2:25pm: Debuchy is down and a stretcher is out for the Arsenal man. Noone was near him when he went down which is never a good sign. He's given oxygen as he's taken off in place of Chambers.

2:23pm: Aleksandar Kolarov is on for Fernandinho - City desperately need to get back into this. Arsenal are looking much more confident and outstripping them in shots on goal.

2:18pm: GOAL! Arsenal are in front thanks to Sanchez. He volleys it into the top corner and the Gunner's danger man is on target as they go in front.

2:15pm: After that goal Arsenal look to have found some confidence and Danny Welbeck has yet another shot saved by Hart.

2:11pm: Sergio Aguero is off for City and Edin Dzeko is on. Will City find a winner with him?

2:06pm: GOAL! Arsenal have equalised thanks to Jack Wilshere, who shoots successfuly from the six yard box. Aguero is handed a yellow card for complaining that there was an earlier foul, and Wilshere's move to beat Joe Hart was simply splendid.

2:04pm: City look to be marginally on top at the moment as they build up some nifty attacks but their final touch isn't quite there. Nacho Monreal receives a yellow card for shouldering Jesus Navas.

1:58pm: Mathieu Flamini goes in the book for a tackle on David Silva.

1:54pm: Fernandinho looks to trip Wilshere and goes in the book despite his protests. City have been particularly physical today and it looks like there's no stopping them.

1:51pm: Danny Welbeck is quick on the mark for Arsenal and the striker has an attempt saved.

1:47pm: And we're back! Samir Nasri comes on the pitch for Frank Lampard for City. One Arsenal favourite for another it seems...

1:32pm: And that's a wrap on the first half. Arsenal won't be too pleased with their lack of danger up front and City are certainly in the driving seat as they go into the tunnel. Can Arsene Wenger give one of his gamechanging speeches? The home fans will hope so.

1:25pm: Alexis Sanchez is playing a big part in the side's push for an equaliser but after a free kick goes awry he looks like he will struggle to match City's defence.

1:18pm: City are building up their chances now with Silva having a shot but it's easily saved by Szczesny.

1:13pm: GOAL! Sergio Aguero is on target and City are up 1-0. It was against the run of play but 1 shot on target was all the Premier League title holders needed to get a big advantage over the Gunners. Assist goes to Navas who picked out Aguero brilliantly.

1:09pm: Pablo Zabaleta and Frank Lampard are both handed yellow cards for rough tackles within two minutes of each other.

1:05pm: City are getting physical with Arsenal but it's all the Gunners in front of the net at the moment. They've had five shots on goal to City's zero, but we all know how dangeorus Aguero is with just one chance...

12:59pm: Welbeck!! So close, but he hits the post!! A good start from the striker after being one-on-one with Joe Hart.

12:54pm: Make that two shots on goal for Arsenal now but still none on target after a poor decision by Ramsey sees him shoot rather than pass.

12:51pm: Manchester City are fast off the blocks but there's yet to be a serious threat to the Gunners yet. Fernandinho tries a tackle on Aaron Ramsey that Mark Clattenberg isn't a fan of.

12:45pm: And we're off!

12:43pm: So Welbeck is starting for Arsenal for the first time since his deadline day move from Manchester United. Will he give the Gunners their winning spark up front? They destroyed Manchester City in the Community Shield at the beginning of the season, will they do it again today? Minutes until kick-off now!

12:37pm: Team line-ups for Arsenal v Manchester City are as follows:

Arsenal starting XI: Szczesny, Debuchy, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Flamini, Wilshere, Ramsey, Alexis, Ozil, Welbeck

Man City starting Xi: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Demichelis, Clichy, Fernandinho, Lampard, Navas, Silva, Milner, Aguero
