Where to Watch Live

Kick-off is set for 7:45pm GMT. Catch the highlights of the game on Match of the Day on BBC One and BBC One HD at 10:35pm GMT.

West Bromwich Albion have been excellent against top opposition this season, winning against Manchester United at Old Trafford, while taking points from Chelsea and Arsenal in the run-in. Manager Steve Clarke has done an excellent job since his appointment and will be looking to extend his impressive run against the top teams with an upset over Manchester City, who have been in brilliant form this season.

They are unbeaten at home in their last four games but come into the match on the back of a 2-1 defeat against Newcastle at St.James' Park. Their attempts to beat City has been made all the tougher by the absence of midfielder Youssuf Mulumbu, who is suspended having picked up five yellow cards this season.

Manchester City have looked imperious at the Etihad but have faltered away from home this season. They have scored 14 goals in their last three home games, winning 6-0 against Tottenham, 4-2 against Victoria Plzen and 3-0 against Swansea. However, the 2011/12 title winners have lost four games away from home including games against Aston Villa, Chelsea and Cardiff City. If they are planning to challenge for the title, they have to better their away record.

What the managers have said

Steve Clarke: "Man City at home have been a different team to Man City away, that's clear. They've four points from six away games, which is not title-winning form. I am lucky enough to have been in a position at Chelsea to know what you have got to do to keep in touch at the top of the league. It is a game they probably feel they have to win.Arsenal look a good team who deserve to be where they are, they've a nice little gap at the top."

Manuel Pellegrini: "You have to look at the positive side - even if we lost against Cardiff, Aston Villa and Sunderland away, we still managed to play better than the opposition. This is a new team with a new manager and new players and we are only going to get better. We are confident it will get better, hopefully starting on Wednesday at West Brom."
