Manchester United starlet Angelo Henriquez has suggested he would be open to a permanent stay at Dinamo Zagreb.

The 20-year-old Chilean has enjoyed a prolific season since joining the Croatian champions on loan, recently coming off the bench to score four goals inside 13 minutes to take his tally for the season to 11 in 12 appearances.

Henriquez is still in constant contact with his parent club but admits should the possibility to remain in Zagreb and feature in the Champions League with Dinamo present itself then it will be one he will have to consider.

"I love Zagreb, this is a great city, the food is good, the club and results are great," Henriquez told 24sata.

"I would like to stay as long as possible and play in the Champions League for Dinamo. But Manchester United are following me. They call me after the league games where I score.

"I really like the Dinamo jersey. The problem is that my friends in Chile like the jersey too, so I'm constantly sending them to Chile. I think Chileans walk around in Dinamo shirts."

Henriquez arrived at Old Trafford in 2012. Having already spent time at Wigan Athletic and Real Zaragoza on loan to little success, he is enjoying his most prolific season yet having hit the ground running in Croatia.

His four goal haul in the 4-2 win over Opatija in the Croatian Cup in October saw him emulate the feats of the club's legendary predator Ole Gunner Solskjaer.

Henriquez came off the bench to score a 90th minute equaliser for his side before adding another three in extra time over the next 13 minutes.

It matched the four goals netted by Solskjaer in an 8-1 win for United against Nottingham Forest in January 1999 - and will no doubt have caught the attention of Louis van Gaal.
