Defending champion and Honda rider Marc Marquez took his 10th pole of the season as he will start the 2014 British MotoGP Grand Prix from front on Sunday at Silverstone.

Qualifying Review

Marquez took his Friday's practice session form to the qualifying as the Spaniard was the fastest at Silverstone to take pole for the race. The championship leader clocked a time of 2:0.829s and with that time he sealed his 10th pole of the ongoing MotoGP season.

Ducati's Andrea Dovizioso will start the race from second as the Italian rider was 0.311s behind the race leader. Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo clocked a time of 2:1.175s and was third fastest.

Marquez, along with Dovizioso and Lorenzo will lock horns for the front grid of the British Grand Prix race on Sunday. Meanwhile, the defending champion's Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa was fifth, while Valentino Rossi was one place behind him in sixth spot.
