Apple has released the newest version of its iOS 5 beta, the iOS 5 Beta 5, granting fresh insights into how the highly anticipated OS will improve functionality on Apple's iPhone and iPad devices.

The new beta version was released to developers this Saturday. As was the case with previous beta releases, beta 5 was made available as an over-the-air 128MB update.

Since the release a video from NatesTechUpdate has shown several of the new features contained in the update.

As well as bug fixes, the OS update added "info buttons" to several pages, including the iCloud. Additionally, it added a "WiFi Settings" shortcut to the homebutton and a new "hearing aid" mode, designed to help improve the sound quality for iPhone and iPad users with a hearing aid.
