At least 13 people have been injured after a bus crashed into a building in Peterborough.

The single-decker vehicle crashed in the city centre at 11.43am, according to Cambridgeshire Police.

There were no fatalities, and none of those injured are in a critical condition, the ambulance service said.

Two people have been freed from a car which collided with the bus, the Peterborough Telegraph reported from the scene.

Pictures show the vehicle, its front seriously damaged, surrounded by debris from a brick wall it has smashed through.
