Playboy Founder Hugh Hefner Marries Crystal Harris: Bride Reveals Photos on Twitter [PHOTOS]

Playboy founder Hugh Hefner married 26 year old model Crystal Harris, on New Year's Eve at the Playboy Mansion. Hefner is 86 years old.

"Crystal and I married on New Year's Eve in the Mansion with [younger brother] Keith as my Best Man," Hefner tweeted on 1 January, "Love that girl!"

Since the wedding, Crystal Hefner has been sharing photographs of the wedding ceremony, ranging from her wedding gown to the floral arch at the mansion, under which the ceremony was performed. One photo shows the newly-wed couple with Hefner's dog, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel called Charlie, who wore a tuxedo for the ceremony.

The bride took a leaf out of the weddings of A-list Hollywood stars like Anne Hathaway and Jessica Biel and came dressed in a pale pink strapless Romona Keveza mermaid-style bridal gown, with a fitted draped bodice, a dropped waist and a skirt made of soft silk organza petals.

She posted a photograph of herself in her bridal gown with this tweet: "Mirror shot of my pale pink 'mermaid' dress". The groom wore a black and white tuxedo with a black bow tie and a pink rose boutonniere.

According to a report by On The Red Carpet, the couple celebrated the occasion with a three-tier wedding cake covered in white fondant, pink roses and a mermaid and merman bride and groom and topped with an edible photo of Hefner, wearing his trademark red robe, hugging Harris.

"The harpist and flutist did an amazing job last night. They played [Herman Hupfeld's] 'As Time Goes By,' [Celine Dion's] 'Because You Loved Me,' [Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg's] 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' and [Snow Patrol's] 'Chasing Cars,'" Crystal tweeted, complimenting the music at the ceremony, "They continued to play through the night as guest arrived for the big annual NYE party."

Hefner and Crystal were engaged and due to be married in the summer of 2011 but the coupled called it off because the whole situation became a bit too overwhelming.

"Last time it turned into a big ordeal and then it all fell apart," she told US Weekly, "This time around is amazing. Our relationship is better than it ever has been before. I'm very happy and Hef's very happy and we're excited."

Hefner has been married twice before - to Mildred Williams from 1949 to 1959 and Kimberley Conrad from 1989 to 2010 - and has four children.
