Corey Parker has died at the age of 60. The "Will & Grace" actor succumbed to cancer on 5 March. His aunt, Emily Parker, confirmed the news of his passing and said that Parker had simply wanted to see another spring. Though devastating to those who knew him, his aunt said she was grateful her nephew was no longer suffering.

Below are five facts about Parker, and some photos to remember him by.

A Passionate Acting Coach

Parker regularly posted about his work as an acting coach on his Instagram account. In fact, most of his 133 posts on the social media platform are about his students and their classes. Last year, he announced the opening of yet another online acting class for just $200 a month (approximately £158). He also shared a video inviting fans to join his class in August 2025.

A Lover of Words

Parker loved posting quotations on his Instagram account. One of his posts centred on the importance of spreading love, peace, and kindness. 'May I be filled with loving-kindness. May I be free from suffering. May I be well...' the post read. It was among the most reflective of his public posts.

A Penchant for Black and White

The 'Friday the 13th' actor also loved sharing black and white photos on his social media account. Parker usually uploaded black and white images accompanied by inspiring quotations. 'To give words meaning, you must first know the reality, the thoughts, sensations, and experiences that the words stand for,' one of his posts read.

A Family Man

Parker is survived by his wife, Angela Parker. The couple first met in the early 1990s after Parker's first marriage to Linda Kerridge ended. Parker and Angela tied the knot in 1995, and they have one child together.

On his Instagram account, Parker detailed his love story with Angela, revealing that they first met on the set of 'Destiny'. Four months later, they decided to obtain their marriage licence in Las Vegas.

'It has been an amazing journey to be together through thick and thin, becoming parents together and evolving into individuals who know we can be who we really are and still be together as a couple, as a pair, as friends,' he wrote.

A Plea for Help Following Cancer Diagnosis

Parker was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic cancer last year following his hip replacement surgery. After his diagnosis, a GoFundMe page was set up to help fund his treatments. The initial goal was set at $65,000 (approximately £51,000), and it has since raised over $60,000 (approximately £47,000).

'We love this man, this artist, this teacher. There is no one like him. This situation feels like a bad dream, and we can only imagine the challenges his family is facing right now,' the information on his GoFundMe page read.

The account remains active, and the funds are expected to go directly to Parker's wife and child. To date, details about Parker's wake and funeral have not been made public, and it remains unclear whether the services will be open to the public and fans.
