Juventus returned to the top of Serie A with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Palermo in Turin on Sunday.

Simone Pepe opened the scoring for the hosts with a glancing header in the first half before goals from Alessandro Matri and Claudio Marchisio sealed the win for Antonio Conte's side.

Juventus moved ahead of Lazio at the top of Serie A on goal difference as they extended their unbeaten league run to 10 games.

Udinese squandered the chance to go top as they went down 2-0 at Parma. Jonathan Biabiany gave the hosts the lead midway through the second half before Giovinco confirmed victory with a penalty fifteen minutes from time.

Inter Milan briefly climbed back into the top half with a 2-1 victory against Cagliari at the San Siro on Saturday. Goals from Thiago Motta and Philippe Coutinho were enough to see off the visitors who pulled one back late on through Joaquin Larrivey.

Lazio missed the chance to go five points clear at the top after they were held 0-0 at Napoli on Saturday. Meanwhile, Delio Rossi picked up his first point as Fiorentina coach with a 0-0 draw with AC Milan in Florence.
