"Pretty Little Liars" star Shay Mitchell has given birth to a baby, and it's a girl.

This is the first child of the 32-year-old actress, Shay Mitchell with actor boyfriend Matte Babel. The couple met through a mutual friend and have been linked since January 2017.

"Never letting go," Mitchell captioned a photo of herself holding the hand of the little bundle of joy on Sunday.

Mitchell had announced her pregnancy on social media in late June with a topless maternity snapshot and joked in the caption "Does this mean I'm allowed to drive in the carpool lane at all times now?" reports People magazine.

"There is something in the oven and it's not my pizza!!! WOW ... It's kind of surreal processing the fact that another human is growing inside of you," she wrote in the description for her two-minute video on YouTube announcing her pregnancy.

Babel had reacted to the announcement and said his girlfriend would be an "incredible mom". In an Instagram post of Mitchell showing off her baby bump, the Canadian TV star wrote, "the strength, vulnerability and grace you've had during this pregnancy has left me in awe, you're going to be an incredible mom. We're lucky to have you, love you."

The "You" actress documented her pregnancy journey on YouTube, and also did a "Baby Mama Dance". Sharing a teaser of the dance video on Twitter, Mitchell wrote, "If you're pregnant and you don't do the Baby Mama dance... are you even really pregnant??"

The couple's journey to parenthood was a series of hilarious traditions. The parents learned the sex of the baby by watching Pink and Blue Power Rangers duke it out until the Pink Ranger emerged victorious. The baby shower was even more unconventional as Mitchell spent it as the guest of honor at "Magic Men Live!" strip show in Hollywood, California.

"Oh my God. I'm going into labor!" the model quipped in a video of the show shared on her YouTube channel.

Mitchell has been blessed with the child months after she revealed she had a miscarriage in 2018. In an Instagram story, the actor posted a photograph of an ultrasound with a broken-heart emoji and wrote: "Although it was an amazing year, it didn't come without some hardships."
