Sony Xperia S, which was unveiled at the Consumer Electronic Show 2012, has finally arrived in the UK and is now available on Three network.

The smartphone is available on "pay as you go" and "pay monthly" options, according to Engadget.

"With a striking display, this is an ideal smartphone for those looking for high-definition entertainment. Plus, as the only network to offer all-you-can-eat data on both pay as you go and pay monthly, Three customers can enjoy all of the rich content that YouTube, BBC iPlayer and Spotify have to offer without ever having to worry about data limits," said Sylvia Chind, head of handsets at Three.

Technical Specifications

Display-The Sony Xperia S display features a 4.3-inch scratch-resistant TFT touchscreen. The display features 16 million colors with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels.

Dimension and Weight - The smartphone measures 128.0x64.0x10.6 mm in thickness and weighs 144g (5.1ounces).

Camera - The devicesports a camera of 12.1 megapixels with LED flash and auto focus. It is featured with 16x digital zoom along with F2.4 aperture. The camera can record video in HD 1080p. Furthermore, there is a front-facing 1.3megapixels camera.

Connectivity- Xperia S offers Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and it can be connected to internet through microUSB.

Battery Life- The smartphone has a standard, Li-Ion battery with a capacity of 1750mAh, according to GSMarena. It can run up to 8 hours and 30 minutes.

Processor- it is powered with a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm dual-core processor.

Storage- The internal phone storage of Xperia S is 1 to 1.5GB and flash memory of 32 GB eMMC. The RAM is of 1 GB.

Operating system- Xperia S runs on Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread which is upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
