Santi Cazorla has lauded the efforts of Theo Walcott up front for Arsenal with the Spaniard pointing out the winger's pace makes him great to play alongside after Arsenal defeated Tottenham 2-0 in the FA Cup.

The Gunners overran their bitter north London rivals on Saturday evening and despite not having Olivier Giroud or Nicklas Bendtner fully fit, the side constantly looked a threat in front of goal thanks to Walcott.

Cazorla has revealed that although he is very different to the out-and-out strikers in the squad the England international is just as easy to have up front as Arsenal continue to go from strength to strength.

"He is a different [type of] player because we always play Giroud or Bendtner up front," he told Arsenal's website. "But Theo is very quick and played very well."

Cazorla also insisted that while Arsenal are happy with their win, the side are set on continuing their good form and are looking ahead to the next game already.

He explained: "We played really well as a team.

"Tottenham have some good players but we played at a good level and we just need to continue that now.

"We need to play every game very well. Now we have a rest for a week and then we're away at Aston Villa [in the league] – we need to win that."

Arsenal are currently sitting at the top of the Premier League table, one point clear of Manchester City. In what is shaping up to be a tough race for the title - which doesn't seem to include Manchester United for the first time in many seasons - Liverpool are also pushing for top spot as well as Chelsea, who are just two points behind Wenger's men.
