Tearaway Unfolded

Sony has announced the release date for PS4 platformer Tearaway Unfolded – a remake of Vita classic Tearaway – as well as details of exclusive pre-order content in a post on its European blog.

Set for release on 9 September, Tearaway Unfolded will come in several editions. The Pop Up pack includes designs based on game series such as Journey, No Man's Sky, Lemmings, The Order: 1886 and Gravity Rush for use in customising your messenger (the playable characters), along with a gold headband.

The special edition features an alternative cover and comes with the Torn Away pack, which features a Kratos costume and designs from God of War, Last of Us, Infamous and Killzone, along with the Pig Crown. Both packs also come with Sackboy and Wendigo papercraft plans to print out and make in real life.

Lastly, the Messenger Edition will be sold at selected retailers and come with a plush Atoi and the Torn Away pack.

Originally released on the Vita, Media Molecule's Tearaway was nominated for eight awards at the 2014 video game BAFTAs, winning three including one best handheld/mobile game.
