Tottenham Hotspur face their London rivals West Ham United in the Premier League on Sunday at White Hart Lane.

Where to Watch

Kick-off is set for 4pm BST. The game will not be shown live in the UK. Catch the highlights on Match of the Day 2 on BBC One and BBC One HD at 10:25pm BST.

Overview

Spurs come into the game after a second straight win in European competition. Andre Villas-Boas's side won 2-0 victory in Russia, defeating Anzhi Makhachkala in their midweek Europa League fixture.

Two first-half goals from Jermain Defoe and Nacer Chadli gave the English outfit a comfortable night against the Russian side. In their previous home league fixture, Spurs drew 1-1 with Chelsea at White Hart Lane.

The north London club are unbeaten in the last six games in all competitions, a run their manager will be keen to continue against the Hammers.

West Ham enter this game after a disappointing 1-0 defeat against newly promoted Hull City in their last league fixture, going down to an early Robbie Brady penalty.

Sam Allardyce will be under pressure for the tie against Spurs as West Ham have just one win in their last five games in all competitions. Their recent form has left the Hammers in 18th place in the league table with five points from six games, while AVB's side are fourth with 13 points.

What the Managers Say

Andre Villas-Boas: "We will try to get at least the minimum sleep [after Europa League fixture], but from Friday to Saturday we will sleep well and recover the players for West Ham. We will just prepare for that game on the day of the game, give the players information on the day of the game."

Sam Allardyce (on Y word): "Only the police can answer that. They will police it with the technology available to them today - and who is going to do the chanting? You never know where or what might happen. But what I don't want is for it to detract from the game."
