Preview: Fernando Torres could return for Chelsea's home Champions League match with Genk, as the home side look to continue their solid start in Group E Wednesday night.

Torres has missed the last two league games while he serves a three-match domestic suspension but is free to play in Europe.

Andre Villas-Boas' side top the group with four points from two games and are strong favourites against the Belgians who have picked up a solitary point.

The Chelsea manager is expected to make several changes for tonight's game after beating Everton 3-1 on Saturday.

Daniel Sturridge could keep his place after impressing in Torres' absence. The youngster has scored three times in Chelsea's last two league games as part of a three-pronged forward line that has netted eight goals.

Team News: Midfielder Ramires joins Michael Essien on the Chelsea side-lines after picking up a knee injury but David Luiz could return after being rested for the win over Everton.

Captain John Terry is likely to be rested, with Alex his like-for-like replacement; while Torres is expected to start up front alongside Nicolas Anelka.

"The most important thing for us is that we are aware of the amount of talent that we have at our disposal," said Villas-Boas.

"Any XI that we put across is a very, very strong XI. This puts us in a position of comfort to have always a good rest. There are situations that might happen regarding the QPR game."
