CSKA Moscow and Inter Milan have met four times in the Champions League with the Italian giants winning all four games. The two sides last met in the UEFA Champions League in the 2010 quarter finals with Inter winning 2-0 of aggregate, Wesley Sneijder scoring the first leg and Diego Milito netting in the second leg.

Inter Milan also defeated CSKA Moscow in the 2007 group stages with a 4-2 win at the San Siro and a 2-1 away win in Moscow.

Both CSKA Moscow and Inter Milan are looking for their first win in the 2011/12 Champions League after both disappointing in their match day one fixtures. CSKA Moscow came from behind to snatch a 2-2 draw with Lille whilst Inter Milan were defeated at home to Trabzonspor.

Injury News

Igor Akinfeev is unlikely to play in 2011 again after damaging cruciate ligaments on 28 August in a Russian League match.

Honda is also ruled out (knee) after picking up the injury in the same match.

Ex-Liverpool winger Mark Gonzalez (hip) is another long term absentee.

Inter Milan

Wesley Sneijder has been ruled out by Claudio Ranieri after missing Inter's win against Bologna last weekend.

Dejan Stankovic is out with a muscle problem

Maicon will miss the Champions League tie through a knee injury.
