West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian San Miguel has claimed he "feels good when playing against Jose Mourinho" and is ready to prove it during their Premier League derby against Chelsea on Wednesday night 4 March.

The Spaniard couldn't avoid his side's 2-0 defeat against the Blues at Stamford Bridge in December, conceding two goals from John Terry and Diego Costa.

However, the keeper pointed out that last season he was crucial to deny Chelsea in the Hammer's goalless draw at West London, while during his time in La Liga he already lead Betis with a Man of the Match performance to a 1-0 victory over then Mourinho's side Real Madrid in November 2012.

"Personally, I feel good when I play against Mourinho," Adrian said to West Ham official website.

"I don't know if Mourinho remembers me but when I play against him I have got some good results – a win with Real Betis and a 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge last season. With Betis, we won the game 1-0 and personally I was the Man of the Match and I was very happy with that result!"

Adrian indeed believes that the challenge to stop his compatriot Diego Costa and Eden Hazard will be similar to the one he successfully faced at Betis when he frustrated Real Madrid's formidable trio Cristiano Ronaldo, Angel di Maria and Karim Benzema.

"It's more or less the same sort of game, facing Chelsea as it was facing Real Madrid, with all their attacking players," he said.

After a disappointed 3-1 defeat against Crystal Palace, Adrian hopes his side will regain the form they already showed this season against other Premier League giants, beating both Liverpool and Manchester City earlier in the campaign while recently securing a draw against Manchester United.

"We need to concentrate for the full 90 minutes and if we play well and show our performance level like we did against Liverpool, Man City and Man United at home, we can get points."

"This game, the 'keeper is busy because they have good players and good strikers, so you normally need to make good saves to keep your side in the game. I hope Wednesday will be a good game for me and for the team."

"It's a tough game for us, but all our players are motivated for this game."
