Three injured on fairground ride

Three people have been injured following an accident involving a ride at a fairground in Ayr. According to the Daily Record they were thrown from a fairground ride in an incident at around 9pm.

Several people have been taken to Ayr and Crosshouse Hospitals for treatment as emergency services attended to the injured on the Tagada ride at Ayr Racecourse

The funfair was part of the Scottish Air Show weekend celebrations.

It's the latest incident after the Tsunami ride at M&D's theme park injured eleven people, including children when a carriage came off the rails.

Earlier this week, the Smiler ride at Alton Towers malfunctioned, leaving passengers dangling from the rollercoaster frame.
