It seems Adele can't make up her mind... The singer is a massive fan of Rihanna but is dubious about going to see her when she brings her Anti world tour to the UK in June because the 27-year-old is fearful of getting intoxicated by marijuana fumes.

During one of the latest shows on her 25 tour, Adele professed her love for Rihanna's music but said it was unlikely they would meet up when the Bajan singer begins the UK leg of her stadium tour. Speaking to her audience, Adele admitted: "I love her. I'm thinking of going to Coventry to watch Rihanna because she's playing Wembley the day before I play Glastonbury, and if I go to that, I'll have no voice, I know it. All that weed in the air – I'll get stoned. But I love her, honestly, all of that new album I love. I gotta try and see her."

Perhaps instead Rihanna will head to Worthy Farm on 25 June when Adele headlines Glastonbury. The Hello singer, who announced the exciting news during her sold-out show at London's O2 Arena on 18 March, will join Muse and Coldplay on the line-up for the Pyramid Stage. Confirming her appearance, Adele said: "I wanted to do it last year but my record wasn't ready. Who's going to Glastonbury this year? See you there. I'll be there. I'll be headlining on the Saturday night this year."

While Adele's live shows have progressed successfully so far, the singer is having to deal with scandal off the stage with a hacker infiltrating the emails of her partner Simon Konecki and leaking private photos. Among the images is a baby scan taken when Adele was pregnant with son Angelo in 2012 and images of the singer as a teenager wearing a Santa outfit and one of her lying in bed with a bottle of champagne and a cigarette.

Rihanna is currently performing on the North American leg of her Anti world tour, which comes to the British Isles on 21 June with a show at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Northern Ireland.
