Fans of adult film star Shyla Stylez were left dumbfounded after the 35-year-old's account Twitter continued to post messages despite reports that she had passed away.

The German-Canadian AVN Hall of Fame performer, born Amanda Friedland, died in her sleep on 9 November at her mother's home in British Colombia, Canada. Cause of death has yet to be revealed.

In a bizarre turn of events, her account continued to post tweets to her 199K followers, hours after news of her death broke.

One eerie message shared read: "Many unanswered questions are on your mind today, yet you won ... More for Libra."

The four posts shared after her death lead confused many fans to question the authenticity of the reports.

"WTF WI-FI IN THE GRAVE?" one fan wrote while another added: "Yes! There are many unanswered questions on the minds of all your fans"

A third questioned whether she was the victim of a death hoax, asking: "Are you alive there is been news that you're dead "

However, it didn't take long for many of her eagled-eyed followers to notice that the messages were automated horoscopes and were likely still going out because her account had yet to be deactivated.

Twitter states that in the event of a user death, a person authorized to act on behalf of the estate, or with a verified immediate family member can use a form to request the removal of the deceased user's account.

One fan reached out to Twitter to "stop this or verify whether the news are true/false/"

At the height of her career, the blonde beauty worked with Jill Kelly Productions and was famed for her ''hardcore'' performances as her multiple alter egos Shyla, Amanda Auclair and Shyla Stylex.

"We have so many great memories of working with her and hanging out with her and we want to hold onto and remember the good times," said longtime publicist James Bartholet.

"We're deeply saddened by the loss of Shyla and our condolences go out to her family in this very sad time. She went quietly with no pain and we know she's in a better place."

Paying tribute her close friend, Jesse Jane shared a video from her recent birthday along with the message: "You're in a better place now but you'll be so very missed."
