Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs is reportedly considering quitting the club. The 26-year-old defender has made more than 100 first-team appearances for the Gunners, but is apparently weighing up his future due to a lack of football this season.

Speculation surrounding Gibbs' future comes shortly after fellow left-back Nacho Monreal committed himself to the club by signing a new long-term deal. The Spaniard has been the first-choice left-back for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger this season.

Gibbs played the full 90 minutes for Arsenal against Burnley in the FA Cup on January 30. However, he knows that a lack of game-time threatens his participation at Euro 2016 in France, according to the Daily Star.

Gibbs is not thought to be pushing for a move before the closure of the January transfer window. But there are a number of Premier League clubs interested in signing the Arsenal star, including Swansea, Newcastle and Crystal Palace.

The full-back intends to consider his options once again in the summer and is open to the idea of leaving his boyhood club Arsenal.
