What if you could possibly see the Beatles perform again?

Wouldn't that be a dream come true?

James McCartney, the son of former Beatle Paul McCartney, has hinted at just that possibility... if the sons of the other former band members were up to the challenge.

The idea was the result of a question from BBC News' Ian Youngs.

"I'd be up for it.Sean [Lennon] seemed to be into it, Dhani [Harrison] seemed to be into it ... I don't think it's something that Zak [Starkey] wants to do. Maybe Jason [Starkey, another drummer] would want to do it ... I don't know, you'd have to wait and see," James responded.

The Guardian reported James agreed that his surnname helped him.

"It can be difficult standing on your own two feet but more than anything it's a help," he explained.

Meanwhile, the other sons of former Beatles have remained in the music industry.

Julian Lennon has a new album - "Everything Changes". Dhani Harrison plays with a band called - thenewno2. Sean Lennon is with the Ghost of a Sabertooth Tiger and Zak Starkey is the drummer for English rock band Oasis.

So do you think a new generation Beatles can come up?
