Blue Is The Warmest Colour Actress Lea Seydoux will star opposite Daniel Craig in next year's 24th James Bond film.

Rumoured for a few months, the Daily Mail now believe that the deal is done and the French actress will now be heading to Pinewood for a series of camera, make-up and costume tests before reading the script at the end of the November.

Bond 24 will begin full production in early December. It will star Craig in his fourth outing as the famed British super spy alongside Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomi Harris as Moneypenny and Ben Whishaw as Q – who all return from 2012's Skyfall.

Seydoux won acclaim for her part in Palm d'Or-winning romantic drama Blue is the Warmest Colour, but is no stranger to Hollywood having appeared in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol opposite Tom Cruise.

Skyfall man Sam Mendes is returning to the director's chair for a second time, and it was recently reported that Interstellar and Her cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema will replace Roger Deakins as director of photography.

Location scouting has been ongoing for some time, with some of the film's locations believed to include Austria, Morocco and Rome.

Bond 24 will be released on 23 October 2015.
