Beyoncé has come under fire yet again after appearing to block out an image of Jesus Christ while posing in front of a replica of Leonardo Da Vinci's The Last Supper.

The Bow Down hitmaker provoked uproar after posting the image of herself sitting on top of a bar with the word "juicy" written on it and obscuring Jesus.

In the Instagram picture, she wears a pink corset top and a lime green skirt.

Although the snap received thousands of likes, many fans slammed Jay-Z's wife for disrespect.

"@beyonce as much as we support your success by being a fellow Texan... its sad to say I have lost all respect for you," one wrote. "This Is very unacceptable and you know you were raised in a church."

Another said: "Not trying to judge - but this is wrong on sooo many levels."

A third chimed in: "Disrespectful, no longer a fan. You are so disrespectful! I will be praying for U! U are not Jesus. Smh [shaking my head]Jesus is the truth, and the light ... John 14:6."

The controversy came just days after the singer issued an apology for sampling an audio recording of the Challenger disaster for her single XO.

"XO was recorded with the sincerest intention to help heal those who have lost loved ones and to remind us that unexpected things happen, so love and appreciate every minute that you have with those who mean the most to you," Beyoncé said.

"The songwriters included the audio in tribute to the unselfish work of the Challenger crew with hope that they will never be forgotten."
