A man dressed in full Batman costume has handed in a criminal to a police station in Bradford before vanishing into the shadows.

West Yorkshire Police said the caped crusader had brought the 27-year-old wanted in connection with fraud offences into Trafalgar House police station in Bradford on 25 February.

Police have released CCTV footage showing the 'Bradford Batman' handing over the suspect in the early hours in the hope of tracking down the vigilante.

The 27-year-old was then charged with handling stolen goods and fraud offences and is due to appear before Bradford magistrates.
