British Paedophiles Caught Running Fake Disneyland Wedding Scam Targeting Children as Young as Five
Convicted UK sex offender arrested after fake child wedding at Disneyland Paris

A British man on the sex offenders register has been arrested in France after allegedly staging a fake wedding at Disneyland Paris involving young children, according to French prosecutors.
Jaskarn Jhaj, 39, from London, was taken into custody last week. He faces multiple charges, including fraud, identity theft and breach of trust. Authorities say the elaborate hoax involved hundreds of actors, professional film crews, and a fabricated storyline featuring children cast as wedding guests.
What Happened at Disneyland Paris
The event, staged outside Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle, featured music, costumes, a wedding cake and arranged seating for a full guest list. Online advertisements were posted seeking child extras, some reportedly as young as five years old.
Children were offered £170 (€200) to appear in what was described as a 'wedding rehearsal'. Participants were instructed to wear formal outfits such as suits, tuxedos or dresses and told to clap, sit and behave as if attending a real ceremony. A young Ukrainian girl was reportedly cast as the bride.
The entire production was booked using false identification and was staged outside of normal park hours. French outlet BFMTV reported that the set-up may have cost more than £110,000 (€130,000).
Who Is Jaskarn Jhaj?
Jhaj, also known by the alias 'Jacky', is well known to UK law enforcement. In 2016, he was jailed for grooming and sexually assaulting two 15-year-old girls, having lured them to parties under the pretence of being a Hollywood producer. He served a four-year sentence.
Following his release, he was placed on the UK's sex offenders register and made subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), which restricts his contact with children and use of the internet.
Despite these restrictions, Jhaj continued to stage bizarre public events. These included a fake funeral procession in London and a red-carpet movie scene outside the Odeon cinema in Leicester Square, where child actors dressed in school uniforms were present.
What Authorities Have Confirmed
French prosecutors allege that Jhaj used professional make-up artists to disguise himself as a 22-year-old groom. More than 100 extras were hired for the wedding scene, and at least one online advert was linked to a media agency based in Paris.
Authorities confirmed that the young girl involved was not physically harmed and did not appear to have been coerced. However, the deceptive nature of the event and the presence of minors under false pretences have prompted a full criminal investigation.

How the Scheme Was Uncovered
According to BBC News, the scheme began to unravel when a parent recognised Jhaj from a previous news article and alerted authorities. Additional footage later emerged showing him posing nude near a fake BBC news van, another unauthorised stunt staged in London.
Investigators have since found that multiple videos of his events had been uploaded to YouTube under a performer's account. One video reportedly included covert footage of one of his former victims. Some clips remained online for years and attracted millions of views before being removed.
Google, which owns YouTube, has yet to explain how the content evaded detection, particularly given Jhaj's criminal record and lack of formal acting credentials.
What Happens Next
Jhaj is currently being held in pre-trial detention in Meaux, near Paris. Meanwhile, the UK's Metropolitan Police have confirmed that he is wanted in Britain for breaching both his Sexual Harm Prevention Order and the notification requirements of the sex offenders register.
'We're in contact with French authorities,' a Met Police spokesperson said. The source of funding for Jhaj's large-scale hoaxes remains unknown.
