Where to Watch Live

Kick-off is set for 3pm BST. Radio coverage of the game will be available on Absolute Radio. Catch the highlights on Match of the Day on BBC One and BBC One HD at 10:25pm BST.

Chelsea are in an impressive run in the last five games played in all competitions, which includes a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane. The Blues went into the international break after their 3-1 win over Norwich City away from home.

Jose Mourinho started Demba Ba against Norwich and the Senegalese international set up a goal for Oscar just four minutes after the start of the play. Chris Hughton's side bounced back and levelled the scores from Anthony Pilkington's second half goal. However, Eden Hazard and summer signing Willian's strike in the final moments of the game saw Chelsea register a win.

Meanwhile, Cardiff come into this game after their 2-1 home defeat against Newcastle United earlier this month. Loic Remy, who is on loan from Queens Park Rangers, scored twice in the first half, leaving the Welsh club to suffer defeat at the hands of Magpies despite Peter Odemwingie's strike in the second half.

Cardiff have only one win in the five games played in all competitions and Mackay would be looking for a victory against the Europa League winners when his side face Chelsea on Saturday. The visitors have already seen an upset after defeating Manchester City 3-2 in the second league game of the season.

Cardiff are 14th in the league table with eight points from seven games while their weekend opponent Chelsea are third with 14 points.

What Managers say

Jose Mourinho: "He [Fernando Torres] is ready. We have the three [strikers] available. I want to have problems by having players to choose. I don't want an easy selection. I want a difficult selection. Torres, [Samuel] Eto'o and Demba [Ba] are all ready."

Malky Mackay: "These are the kind of fixtures you looked forward to once promotion had been achieved. We won't go there with any fear, that is not our style at all, we'll be going there fully aware how difficult it is going to be, but fully determined to relish the occasion."
