D4vd Case Update: Did Close Friends Aysia Collins and Neo Langston Turn Against the Singer? Internet Sleuths Weigh In
D4vd's whereabouts remain unknown, and he has stayed mum since the discovery of Rivas in his Tesla

Following the arrest of D4vd's close friend, Neo Langston, and comments of Aysia Collins calling for justice for Celeste Rivas, the internet slueths believes that the singer's close friends have turned on him as they continue to suspect and associate D4vd with the death of the 15-year-old teenager who has been missing for a year before her discovery.
On 8 September 2025, Rivas' severely decomposed remains were found in a Tesla, which was registered under the singer's name, whose real name is David Anthony Burke.
The vehicle was put in an LA impound lot, but prior to the discovery, staff had reported a persistent foul odour coming from the vehicle, prompting authorities to launch an investigation.
Neo Langston's Alleged Sentiments on Celeste Rivas' Death
Following Neo Langston's arrest for failing to appear as a witness before a grand jury. A Reddit user has posted what he believed was a sentiment from his camp.
Reddit user FillingInTheGap posted a comment on his YouTube video where he discussed Langston's arrest. As online communities — from social media platforms to forums and even gaming spaces offering promotions without deposit — continue to debate the case, speculation has intensified across digital channels.
He wrote: 'I received a public comment on my YouTube channel (FlojoeTV) under a video discussing the recent arrest of Neo. The comment was posted by a user named @casiagreable, an account that does not use a real name.'
The said comment read: 'Neo did not hide out with his mom. He lives with his mom. He was never served. He never drove the Tesla. He is not in a plea deal. He has nothing to hide. He was cooperating with the DA already and the arrest is completely bogus. Nancy is Melinda Ducketting him.'

FillingInTheGap has looked into the profile of the commenter and saw older videos that appeared to be Langston's mother; therefore, he speculated that the commenter was Cynthia or a family member.
He added, 'I am not making any accusations, and I don't know who this person actually is. What struck me is that someone who appears connected to Neo would publicly step into a YouTube comment section to defend him and attempt to correct the narrative during an active murder investigation.'
Aysia Collins Calls for Justice for Celeste Rivas' Death
On top of it, Aysia Collins, who was previously alleged as D4vd's girlfriend and speculated as the female witness who did not cooperate with the grand jury, has called for justice for Rivas despite her close friend's close linkage to the case.

On her TikTok video, a user commented calling for justice for Rivas' death, to which Collins replied with 'agreed'.
A comment that netizens didn't buy, one said 'Took her almost 5 months just to say that word.'
Collins replied with: 'Been saying I want justice for her but once again you guys only see what you want I guess.'
D4vd's Close Friends Turned on Him, Internet Sleuths Think So
Due to the alleged sentiments from Langston's camp and the call for justice of Collins, the internet sleuths now think that the singer's close friends have turned on him.
Reddit user Jakepizzapizza said that Aysia clearly cut ties with D4vd because of her statement and added, 'Neo and Aysia have been targets for 5 months, why are they now defending themself? Could it be, they have FINALLY came to their senses? Could it be that Neo and Aysia are cooperating with the DA like this comment suggests?'
However, some didn't buy it and think that the two were still connected to D4vd, one wrote: 'They are still connected. They all still follow Rob. Rob still is connected to D4vd and his family.'
Another Reddit user said, 'She's hoping people forget. No they aren't sorry never were. Of course they are going to try and do damage control. Stop and remember this is a homicide, a body being thrown in a trunk, a little girl who was for at least a year around these monsters. Let d4vd have his fun with her while they watched and participated.'
Updates on Celeste Rivas' Case
Earlier, in November 2025, media outlets reported that D4vd had been identified as a suspect in the case, and on 29 December 2025, it was reported that he was 'likely' to face indictment in connection with Rivas' death.

However, almost five months after the discovery, no formal indictment has been announced.
The most recent development in the Rivas case is the arrest of Neo Christopher Langston, a 23-year-old Twitch streamer known online as NeoTheAsian and a close associate of D4vd.

He was taken into custody on 22 January 2026 for failing to appear as a witness before a grand jury. His arrest marks the first major update since Rivas' remains were discovered.
D4vd's whereabouts are also unknown, and he has stayed mum since the discovery of Rivas in the trunk of his Tesla.
