Fifty Shades Of Grey star Dakota Johnson, who suffered a minor wardrobe malfunction while accepting the People's Choice Award for favorite dramatic movie actress, has compared the moment to sex scenes from the hit 2015 film. The actress wore a Giorgio Armani Prive Couture ensemble, but when Leslie Mann presented her the award and hugged her, the zip from her top accidentally broke.
However, the 26-year-old seemed casual about it and referred the incident to sex scenes from Fifty Shades Of Grey. "Leslie just broke my dress," Johnson said and everyone on stage burst into laughter.
She later compared the incident to her infamous topless scenes in the BDSM-themed movie and said, "Well, it's not like nobody here hasn't already seen my b**bs."
"Thank you so much, to the fans. This is really insane. I was just excited to even be nominated. You guys have completely rocked my world and changed my life. I am so incredibly grateful. Thank you for supporting our movie. Thank you to everyone at Universal, Sam Taylor-Johnson, E.L. James, Jamie Dornan. I couldn't have done it without you. That's it. I don't know. Bye. Thank you!" Johnson said after receiving the award.
The actress will next appear in the sequel, Fifty Shades Darker, which is currently in pre-production stage. Filming for the movie is scheduled to commence in early 2016 and it is expected to released in February 2017.
Both Johnson and Jamie Dornan will reprise their roles of college student Anastasia Steele and the BDSM-obsessed billionaire Christian Grey, respectively.
