Fifty Shades of Grey fans who can't wait to see Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele will be pleased to know that the film's first trailer has finally got a release date.

Author E.L. James has revealed on her Twitter account that it's coming very soon, reports Enstars.

Earlier rumours suggested that fans keen to catch a glimpse of the adaptation of the hugely-successful novel, which is expected to be out in time for Valentine's Day 2015, wouldn't get to see a trailer before September 2014 because of a new Motion Picture Association of America guideline that trailers should not be released more than five months before a film is shown in cinemas.

Meanwhile, Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale has revealed that she auditioned for the part of college student Anastasia Steele.

Hale said she tried out for the lead role, but it was a somewhat awkward experience.

"It actually was just me [in the audition]. It was a two-page monologue of exactly what you would think it would be. Very uncomfortable, but it was sort of one of those things where you just had to go for it or you're just gonna look lame - hopefully, I didn't look lame," she told MTV News.
