Samsung has released Android 4.2.2 update for Galaxy Note 8.0. ohguideme.com (ibttimes)

The official build, with base firmware XXCMH1, brings Android 4.2.2 for the Note 8.0, which runs Android 4.1.2 out of the box. The update brings an array of features such as lockscreen widgets, dedicated toggles menu in status bar, improved task switching, Daydream screensaver mode and performance enhancements. It also integrates new widgets, homescreen and more features from the Galaxy S4, according to Sammobile.

XXCMH1 Android 4.2.2 is available for Note 8.0 users in Germany and is expected to reach other regions soon. Users can access the update both as an Over-The-Air (OTA) trasnfer or through KIES. Since N5100XXCMH1 is an unbranded version of firmware, it can be installed on any unlocked GT-N5100 unit (except those from China, Hong King and Taiwan).
